I am truly lamenting Edwards’ drop from the race since now I will have to go with the lesser of two evils. I was still debating between Obama (less of two evils) and Edwards (the man with little chance but who I would like to see as president).
I hope to see an Obama/Edwards ticket in the summer!

Bush is now against earmarks…
Please refer back to my 4th branch of congress that would have line-item-veto power but would be a large (500 members) of a completely random sampling of U.S. citizens.
Apparently Bush wants line-item. My plan wouldn’t give anyone line item but would say. “Take this out and vote on each on their own merit”. This other branch would not have any lawmaking or executive powers but would be a completely civil, drafted position with 2 year tours of duty.

The Hoax of “Buyer’s” agents

It is interesting that the “Buyers Agents” have such a conflict of interest in getting their buyers to buy the most expensive house as possible as soon as possible. They serve little purpose if you can’t trust them to be in your best interest so I support this law suit or similar ones. You might as well not use one and if you do don’t pay them on commission. I’m not sure what payment model would work better but definitely not commission.

Stimulus Package (does it run on batteries?)

We surprisingly need a economic stimulus when the tax cuts are set to expire. I imagine that they were carefully set to expire when we could well expect the next recession to come along.
They can pretty well calculate when we will have recession (every 8-10 years). Why didn’t they set it to expire after just 2 or 3 years. No they set it to expire when a new recession would be coming and Bush conveniently is leaving office.
Will the stimulate the economy by giving more money to the poor no they will say that tax cuts favoring the wealthy are needed.
